A Free Online Calendar and Events Listing for Your Website
Publish a calendar listing of your events to your website:
Commingly is a free online calendar for your website. You can add unlimited events and photos so that all of your community members stay informed about your upcoming events.
A web calendar tailored specifically for you:
Commingly calendars are made for everyone. You can be an organization (business, church, non-profit etc) who hosts various events weekly, a news station that is providing a centralized location for locals to stay informed about events occurring around the community, or an individual musical performer trying to get the word out about your next musical performance. Commingly will be able to cater to each of your calendar needs by providing the right calendar tools for your website.
Variety in website calendars:
Commingly has multiple calendar layouts so you can choose the best type of calendar that fits your website. For example:
Grid Calendar
- A monthly view of your calendar that displays 3 events per day (arranged by your most ‘attending’ events). The Grid Calendar (link) organizes your calendar with less text, a more modern and elegant look, while engaging your audience by displaying the events on your calendar with the most people attending.Upcoming Events
- If you want a calendar that is arranged by the date that your event is held on, then you can select the Upcoming Events (link) calendar layout.Newest Events
- If you want the events on your calendar to be arranged by the date you (or the user submitted) created the event, then choose the New Events (link) calendar design. Most Popular Events
- If you want the events on your calendar to be organized by the “popularity” of your events, then choose the Trending Events (link) calendar theme.
Free mobile design:
All Commingly calendars are responsive meaning that your calendars will be mobile and tablet compatible so you won’t have to worry what device your website visitors are on. Because Commingly calendars automatically adjust to the size of your calendar to the size of the display monitor, you won’t have to implement other software or buy other premium plans to make it mobile-friendly. We believe that responsive design should be free for all embeddable website calendars.
Social and engaging:
User submitted events -
Commingly lets your website visitors submit their own events to your calendar. These events will have to be approved firstly by you (the admin) so they can display on your calendar. You can either accept or deny these events. Note: By ignoring user submitted events (not publishing or deleting), these events will not be displayed on your calendar.
Attending events -
An insight to see which events are most liked by your website visitors, the “I’m going” button is used to encourage your audience to select which events on your calendar they are attending. Your events with most attendance will then be organized on your grid calendar by how many “I’m going” clicks are counted (from ascending to descending order). Like this, you can know which events are most liked by your visitors and thus you can use according data to plan your future events.
Export events -
Commingly allows your visitors to save and export their favorite events to their own personalized calendars. Each event added to your Commingly calendar will be integrated with an Export link that will export your events in iCal format. Your or your website visitors will then be able to export and sync these events with Google Calendars, Outlook Calendars, and iCalendar.
Put a color to your website calendar:
Commingly lets you choose your own colors for your calendar. With our premium plan, you are able to edit the colors of your calendar to match your website.
New! Recurring events
Based on our feedback, we have implemented a recurring events feature that lets you add events daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. Give it a shot and let us know what you think.
Commingly encourages feedback and questions from all of our registered users and visitors. Let us know if you have any comments or questions.
