| Description | It’s time for our 15th Annual Comfort House Walkathon! Lace up your tennis shoes and join us on Saturday, February 20, for a 3-mile walk starting at Doc Neuhaus Park across from Comfort House on Dallas Avenue in McAllen (between 2nd & 10th St) at 9:00am. This fundraiser is dedicated in memory of our past residents and allows us to continue to provide our care at no charge to our residents and their families. We invite everyone to walk, jog, or run for fun! We encourage you to also support Comfort House with its ongoing ministry of love and compassion for the terminally ill and their families by collecting pledges to help raise funds. You may assemble a walking team to represent your loved one, family, business or organization and share this fundraising campaign with others on our behalf. To particpate and register, visit our office to pickup a pledge envelope to begin collecting donations. REGISTRATION: 8:00am WARM-UP: 8:30am WALK BEGINS: 9:00am We are also extending an invitation for your business or organization to have a booth (table, tent, banner, etc.) at the event and promote your product or service.
